The 2009 Collingswood Holiday Parade which is the largest Parade in South Jersey, begins Saturday (November 28) at 10 am.

The parade route will run along Haddon Avenue beginning at Zane Avenue and continuing to West Linden Avenue, through the heart of historic Collingswood.

CBS 3 & CW Philly anchor Pat Ciarrocchi will serve as grand marshal. Appearance by the Phillie Phanatic, regional high school marching bands, more than 10 string bands, special guests from the Philadelphia Flyers and of course, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.

The theme for the parade is Musical Notes and Holiday Floats. Five local elementary schools will engage in an annual tradition of competing for the best float trophy.
