Marlton Christmas Market Fund Raiser Saturday December 5th – For A Good Cause

Looking for something to do Saturday December 5th 2009? Then stop by the Blue Barn Rec Center in Marlton, this Saturday December 5th 2009 from 10am to 3pm for the Christmas Market fund raiser.

The fund raiser proceeds will benefit  a very sick little girl named Emmie and her family.

If you are not familiar with Emmie, she is the youngest of 5 children, adopted from South Korea, who has endured  cardiac arrest and strokes, and had seven open heart surgeries. She can no longer eat or drink, requires a wheel chair and tube feedings around the clock. Emmie has been in a body cast for at least the next 18 months due to several compression fractures in her spine. She is severely immuno-compromised and cannot be in a classroom setting.

The event will include over 40 crafters, artists and vendors, Santa, face painting and balloon artist for the kids, a bake sale, Chinese Auction and food prepared by Emmie’s team.

If you would like to help, they are looking for volunteers to help out the day of the event. Also, they need more crafters, artists & vendors … and if you can BAKE, they need you, too! (You won't necessarily need to be present that day, just do some baking for the bake sale portion of the event!).
