Fox 29 and Operation Homefront at Cherry Hill Mall Friday

On Friday, December 11th, Fox 29 will broadcast live from Cherry Hill Mall's Grand Court for Operation Homefront – A Hero's Holiday Greeting from 8am to 11am ("Good Day Philadelphia" is on air from 8 to 10 a.m).

Viewers can meet personalities, be entertained and drink coffee while sending holiday greetings to the troops.

Operation Homefront provides emergency and morale assistance for our troops, the families they leave behind and for wounded warriors when they return home. A nonprofit 501(c)(3), Operation Homefront leads more than 4,500 volunteers in 30 chapters nationwide and has met more than 105,000 needs of military families. FOX 29 and Operation Homefront are sending taped holiday greetings to U.S. troops this holiday season.

Viewers can also make a donation for care packages for troops and the local families whose loved ones are serving our country away from home. Operation Homefront will handle the collection and delivery of greetings and donations.
