Marlton's annual event is free and is hosted by The Center For The Arts in Southern New Jersey, Evesham Fire-Rescue and Evesham Township Department of Recreation.

The station will be decorated like a Winter Wonderland and Santa will arrive by sliding down the fire pole at 6pm sharp. Stop by with your toy lists for Santa and get your picture taken with the jolly ole' fella! Food will be available for purchase from local vendors.

Starting Monday Nov. 22, shoppers who purchase $50 in Collingswood Cash (the borough’s equivalent to a mall gift card) will receive $70 to spend anywhere in town. For every $50 spent, they will receive an additional $20. All shoppers can do this up to a total of $500, which means $200 in free cash is available for those who want to shop in Collingswood’s downtown borough business area.

According to Collingswood Mayor Mayor Jim Maley, “It brings people to town in droves and gets them to shop for the holidays here. Over three years, this promotion will bring roughly $750,000 to Collingswood businesses.”

In previous years, the promotion sold out in just hours. Lines formed around selling locations in town. The town allots $40,000 to give away and the bonus cash is first come, first served. This year, the bonus cash will go on sale November 22, before the Borough’s largest holidays events of the season.

The answer is, all trees will  be collected during the weeks of January 11-15 and 18-22, 2010 on the regularly scheduled trash day.

Fireworks At Penns Landing (Philadelphia & Camden waterfronts) – There will be two fireworks displays along the Delaware River waterfront New Year’s Eve to say "goodbye" to 2009 and "hello" to 2010.

In addition to the traditional — at least since 1991 — fireworks display at midnight, there will be one at 6 p.m.

Visitors to both the Philadelphia and Camden waterfronts will be able to hear the synchronized soundtracks for the fireworks from speakers on the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing and Wiggins Park in Camden. KYW Newsradio will also broadcast the official soundtracks to both shows.  CBS 3 will televise the traditional fireworks show live at midnight.

Scavelli has been a critical part of the administration for the last few years. As assistant superintendent for business, Scavelli has overseen the budget and helped to lead the district through these tough economic times.

Scavelli has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in School Business Administration from Glassboro State College, now known as Rowan University. He holds a teaching certificate in Mathematics, as well as certifications for School Business Administrator and School Administrator.

McCurdy's Armor is a "Lego-type system" of frames, connected with steel pins, that can be reinforced with armor plate, sand and "ballistic glass", according to Dynamic promotional materials. For families, finding places where kids eat  for free, can be a real break on an already tight budget.

Recently, the financial site ChristianPF.com published an article listing 10 restaurants that allow kids to get a free meal if their parents purchase an entree.  Some of the restaurants run the “kids eat free” deal every day of the week and some only offer it on a particular day of the week. Each restaurant also has its own definition of a kid. Kids are defined from age 3 to age 12 – each restaurant treats them differently.

Listed below are just a few of the restaurants featured in the article that can be found around the Marlton area.

Applebees – At Applebees kids eat for free on Tuesdays. There is 1 free kids’ meal for each adult entree purchase. Additional kids are $1.00. Not all locations offer this deal so be sure to call ahead to see if your location does!
